Menus

Following the nutrition guidelines of the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010, we serve only whole-grain rich products; low fat and fat free milk; 100% fruit and/or vegetable juices; and a variety of fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables every day.

Offer vs. Serve (OVS)

We offer at least 5 menu components/items at Lunch, and at least 4 menu components/items at Breakfast each day. For optimal nutrition, kids are encouraged to take a serving of all components. “Offer vs. Serve” (OVS)  is a strategy to reduce food waste by allowing students to decline some food options, while selecting the ones they intend to eat. For a complete reimbursable Breakfast or Lunch, students MUST take at least 3 items; one of the three MUST be a serving of fruit or vegetable.
