IMPORTANT:  SUMMER SCHOOL POLICY FOR HIGH SCHOOL COURSES:

Any courses taken in the Summer School program will count on a student’s transcript the same as during the regular school year.  A grade and credits will be permanently recorded on each student’s high school transcript and calculated into the student’s grade point average.  If a student fails to complete the course or courses enrolled in, that student will earn a failing grade and no credits will be entered on his/her permanent transcript.  Auditing courses will not be allowed.

REGISTRATION:

Please complete the attached registration form and return it to the Coast Union High School office as soon as possible.  PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO STUDENTS WITH THE GREATEST INSTRUCTIONAL NEEDS. The form must be returned by June 3, 2016. Students will register at the grade level of the 2016-2017 school year. If you have questions regarding registration, please contact Cheryl Seay at 927-3889 or Lori Nunez at 927-4400.

TRANSPORTATION:

Transportation will be provided by the District for students enrolled in Summer School.

High School students must attend every day to qualify for Summer School credits. Only one absence will be allowed. Classes will be dropped if there is not sufficient attendance.

LUNCH:

NO BREAKFAST WILL BE SERVED.  A lunch program will be offered during Summer School this year.
