CUHS LOCAL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION: Your two letters of recommendation and your completed application must be turned in to Ms. Seay by February 2, 2017 by 3:30 pm. DO NOT STAPLE! cuhs-local-scholarship-application
SECOND SENIOR TIMELINE: Ms. Seay met with the seniors to discuss their second senior timeline and to explain the Local Scholarship application process and due dates.
CUHS ACT & SAT EXAM DATES: The next SAT dates are May 6 and June 3, 2017. OTHER DATES AVAILABLE AT DIFFERENT LOCATIONS. Students must sign up for these exams on-line
ACT / SAT PREP WORKSHOP: College Road Tutoring and Consulting presented by, Kathleen Harbottle. Saturday, February 25 and Saturday, March 4 from 9:00 to Noon. Cost $40.00. Sign up with Ms. Seay if you are interested in attending, limited seats are available.
AP TESTS: Information was mailed home to all parents of AP students with dates and payment instructions. If you have question come visit Ms. Seay.
FEE WAIVERS FOR THE ACT& SAT: If your family qualifies for the Free & Reduced Lunch Program your student also qualifies for a testing fee waiver. If you do not qualify, but have extenuating circumstances; please contact Ms. Seay to confidentially discuss obtaining a fee waiver.
CUESTA INFORMATION was distributed to all seniors. Cuesta counselors will be on campus December 5th to assist students in completing the Cuesta Application. Students need to sign up with Ms. Seay if they are interested in attending.
COLLEGE BOARD: The college Board website offers an enormous amount of information. There are free SAT sample questions, mini-tests, test taking strategies, study guides for the PSAT, SAT I & II, AP exams, etc. You are encouraged you to log on and take a look.
COLLEGE ACCEPTANCE POSTS: Seniors need to let Ms. Seay know when they receive a college acceptance letter so that she can post the good news in the quad.
