 Message from the principal

Coat Union School Spirit Re-energized:  ASB has launched an ambitious campaign, in an effort to galvanize our student body and boost Coast Union’s school spirit,  The student leadership has organized the entire student body into four teams.  The Red, Gold, Black, and White teams, randomly comprised of 9th through 12th graders, compete throughout the year for spirit points.  Kicked off at this week’s Winter Sports Rally, these competitions have already generated lots of excitement throughout the school during Spirit Week.

Teams accumulate Spirit points through several school activities, ranging from dress-up days, lunch-time activities, academic and athletic challenges, culminating in an epic end-ofthe-year school olympic event.  Teams will battle it out to win bragging rights and possession of the CU Spirit Can for one year.  The winning CU Team and year will be painted on the Can, which will be proudly displayed for all to see.

As the Principal, I could not be more proud of the ASB leadership for establishing what promises to be a great Coast Union High School tradition!
