Cambria Grammar School serves Kindergarten through 5th grade in the Coast Unified School District. Beginning in 2011-2012 our school district piloted a Transitional Kindergarten Program for 5 year olds that falls under the Kindergarten Readiness Law.  Our total student enrollment averages 340 students.  

 

Cambria Grammar School is committed to providing an environment where all children can achieve to their fullest potential. Our mission is to teach the curriculum to all students in a way that promotes self-esteem, mutual respect, cooperation, and the desire to continue learning throughout life. Parents and volunteers are important partners in our school. We encourage and welcome parent and community participation. We have an active and supportive PTA, the Cambria Educational Foundation,  a 5th grade Peace Leader Council, that collaborate with an enthusiastic and competent staff. GRAMMAR SCHOOL NEWS:
KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION FOR 2013-2014  
Children must turn 5 years old on or before October 1, 2013. Please bring legal birth certificate, current immunization record, proof of residence address, and if you have a current TB clearance.  

TRANSITIONAL KINDERGARTEN 2013-2014
This class level is designed for children whose birthdate has been affected by the California State Kindergarten Readiness Law, which moved the original cutoff entry date of December 2, to October 1 for the school year 2013-14.  
Children whose 5th birthday falls between October 2, 2013 and December 2, 2013 have the option of registering for the Coast Unified School District Transitional Kindergarten. Please call the school office for more information: 805-927-4400
